How to send HTML mail from Outlook

Hey thanks for being here!! So let’s learn how to send a HTML email (for example, a HTML newsletter with some text & images) from Microsoft Outlook. You will quickly learn that – if you design the email using Outlook or Word – the email source code will actually render badly on other email clients. This happens because Outlook is generating the email source code using mostly VML (Vector Markup Language) which is poorly supported by other email clients.

Now question is this, how to insert a clean HTML code which will render clearly and supported by other email clients. There are so many options for inserting your own HTML file over Outlook or insert the HTML file using the “insert as text” feature. Well, they are simply wrong. You will soon discover that Outlook alters / converts your HTML code: there is no way to insert your own, clean HTML code to Outlook by simply doing a copy / paste or drag’n’drop operation.

There are so many options for inserting HTML code into your emails, but the simplest way is using Bells & Whistles for Outlook add-on, Download this plug-in and install to your Windows OS.

Now there will be a tab in your Outlook named as BELLS & WHISTLES and there will be a option “Insert HTML” so simple click on this button and choose the email template that you want to use in your email.
